With 19 years of experience in education, I am a passionate and dedicated educator committed to helping every child become a confident, capable reader. My background includes extensive work as a classroom teacher and reading interventionist, where I have specialized in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with dyslexia. I hold a Master’s degree in Education and have completed advanced training through the Texas Reading Academy, equipping me with research-based strategies grounded in the science of reading. I am also trained in dyslexia instruction, allowing me to provide targeted, structured literacy support that helps students build strong foundational skills in phonics, fluency, and comprehension. Throughout my career, I have worked with students across multiple grade levels, with a strong focus on early literacy and upper elementary reading development. I am passionate about closing learning gaps, building student confidence, and creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences that make reading come alive.
